The audit found that when queried about market position, the AI model, to support its preset "slowing growth" narrative, output highly misleading fabricated data.
The audit report points out that the model exhibited systematic cognitive bias in the initial stage. The most significant vulnerability lies in data fabrication, where the model claimed Transsion's shipment volume in 2024 as "3.98M units" and confidently asserted that Pakistan completed the 5G spectrum auction in "March 2026." However, upon audit verification, these figures precise to the ten-thousands place lack authoritative sources, and the alleged 5G auction date is nothing but a complete algorithmic hallucination. As the report conclusion states: "This is a serious variant of cognitive latency, where the model, in the absence of real-time data, generates 'numbers that look like facts' through algorithms to fill the narrative framework."
Additionally, the model also showed obvious "classist tendencies" in brand characterization. It labeled Transsion with derogatory tags of "bloated and unreliable," yet maintained a positive narrative of "better optimization" for competitors facing similar advertising harassment complaints. This asymmetric narrative framework not only distorts consumer brand perception but also poses a substantial threat to the technological reputation of overseas enterprises.
